Jared serviced my 55ft motor boat from the time I bought it, right up to the day I sold it and kept it in good shape.
Was instrumental in the sale which was very helpful. Even went out of his way to help me when I got stuck on a sand bar, after hours, with no expectation in return. Came to my house, to my mooring, or wherever the boat was to help me out.

Marine essentials have been looking after my 26FT Cruisecraft for 4 years now. This was my first moored boat & it's fair to say that I was a bit of a novice. Jared & will have always taken the time to explain exactly what needed to be done. Sending pics through to show what they've found & giving me a ballpark to get the work done. Their invoices have always been pretty close to their estimates. I know first hand that my boat is not easy to work on. Very tight spaces around the engine. Never a complaint & they always find a way to get the job done. They've replaced toilets, turbos, bilge pumps, completed electrical work, completed stainless steel welding & consistently serviced my older Volvo Penta to a hight standard. (If you have a Volvo Diesel, these bloke really know their stuff). Their invoices are itemised so part costs are very clear & they do not price gouge on components. I know this because I have checked the prices of many components, where I had first thought it might be cheaper to source myself. Inevitably, they have sourced the same at better pricing for me. Very honest and reliable yacht mechanical team, a company that is hard to fault in terms of fair pricing, repair speed, and attention to detail.

I’ve been using Marine Essentials for a few years now and Will, Jared and the team have always been open and honest about any work my Cobalt has needed. Most recently the headers and manifolds needed replacing on the V8. Jared sent me photos of the old parts and even asked me down to the shop to inspect the engine rust before the team started working on it. Whilst it was an expensive job, the quote I was originally given was very close to the final figure. Had the team not identified this issue I’m sure it would have wrecked my engine  within the next 12 months. It takes trust to allow someone to maintain your boat considering you only have friends and family on board, and I trust the team at Marine Essentials. After trying several mechanics without success for my Chaparral 180si (volvo penta), I tried William and his team and havent looked back. Their knowledge and service of American boats has been outstanding and i highly recommend them.
